Working on Sunday! Got a lot done today on assignments. Some days are diamonds and some days are stones....you know what I mean.

Here is a background I learned at Ranger U...what a cool idea. And the image of Louisa is perfect with the German scrap, both from Paper Imagery Designs.

The stamps are from Kimberly Poloson clear stamps. Love them in vintage collages.

Miniature Collage

The hot thing now is the Ranger Memory Frames. Very fun, very easy to work with.

This is a collage using some rub ons inside and outside on the glass, and Idea-ology bits to add interest. The frame is upside down and a clip is added to hold the ball chain.

Of course the Paper Imagery Designs image has a bit of Distress Ink on it...of course!

It was a gloomy, overcast day when the picture was take so the key seems darker than it really is.

But you get the idea! A couple of my pieces are up on ScrapScene today, and this is one of them. Very cool site!!!!

Counting down the days until RANGER U!!!! Got my list of fellow students today from all over the world. Should be VERY exciting!

Tiny Collage Boxes

Ever wonder what to do with the tiny metal boxes you get supplies in from Maya Road? They are way too cute to toss.

So add some alcohol inks with a brush....since it is a tiny area...add several colors in layers. Then cut an image from Paper Imagery Designs image, add some words, a couple of rub ons and gently push under the metal lip inside the box.

Simple, fun, and a tiny gift box for something special!

Pretty Little Mary Beth

This is Mary Beth from Paper Imagery Designs. The gold mesh is also from Melissa's stash. Pretty cool, huh!

Here is the front with the doors closed. Hard to get a good picture especially at night....that's when I get my things done usually! But I wanted you to see the gold mesh.

The shrine is from Collections. It's a very light chipboard. Some Distress Inks, a few stamps, a mask, and some paper flowers do the job.

Home Again!

Scrap St. Louis was a blast....and now it's over. The lead speaker Mary Engelbreit was about the only picture I took!!!!! Can you believe it????

I DO hope some of you send be some pictures that you took.....I know my eyes were still seeing dots from flashes last night.....so send me some and we'll post them.

Scrap St. Louis Sneak Peek!

Boy, do we use a TON of products in this class for Scrap St. Louis!!! Here's a peak of just one side of the finished project. Metal embossing techniques, layering up and of course a bit of Distress Inking will be included in this class.

Get lots of sleep and be ready to work when you come to class...so many things, so little time....get ready....it's getting closer and closer!

Watch Fob Collage

It seems like forever since I've been able to upload something of interest here. Been working on future classes and assignments that are coming together.

This is a watch fob from Ginny's Small Studio Productions that has a faceted face. You can't really appreciate it from a picture. It has her beautiful dyed ribbons, a red number ribbon, and 4 pieces of Tim Holtz's Idea-ology.

The little face is a new sheet from Paper Imagery Designs #556 that has great new shapes and terrific flourishes featuring Avery....I know he's my favorite!

Add a rhinestone, a metal star, some watch parts with at bit of Distress Ink and you are DONE!

Just one more thing

This is what I worked on today. It features Bella from Paper Imagery Designs and Marshall. Do you think she's dreaming of the older kid she has a crush on?

The base is a page from the chipboard House Book Kit from Small Studio Productions along with the little house trinket, vintage tape measure, Tim's Idea-ology pieces and vintage brown and white stripey twine.

The papers are Graphic 45. I LOVE them....have I said that before?

Small Studio Productions Collage

Here is the 1st collage from Small Studio Productions!!!! Can you spot her wonderful things????

It started with the black 3 hole cubbie...sooooooo easy to put together, and you get 2 in a pack! Then the bird is too cute! Cover him with paper, stamp, add a picture and ta-da! LOVE IT!

The numbers, black leaf ribbon and the large chipboard house are from SSP. The house is one of 7 in the 7Gypsies Home Sweet Home pack.

THEN....we had to have some vintage pictures!!! So the Paper Imagery Designs little ones are here, too!!! Delightful!!! Three are behind Fragments and the little guy in the bird is not.

AND PID is taking Pre-Orders for Tim Holtz's NEW STUFF on the blog!!!! Yes.....go take a look, and a discount, too! MY ORDER IS IN!

There are many more things too numerous to name, but you know you can ask if you're curious!

UPDATE: The metal behind the children is tape run through the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder and several colors of alcohol inks are added...and sanded...and added...and sanded...till you get what you like! Simple as that! (It's a sickness...)

Tessa is Here!

This is another image from Paper Imagery Designs. Isn't she wonderful?!?!? And I LOVE the background.

The house is Collections and Maya Road Cherry Blossoms and Birds with Distress Inks help adorn the sides. I ran some metal through the Cuttlebug on the bird's wing and a touch of Alcohol ink makes him special. REALLY COOL!!!!

Thanks Maya Road for the flowers and birds, they were in my great prize package box!!!!!

Throw in a few stamps, a couple of rhinestones and she's done.

Go Create something......I'm trying to figure out what to wear to "Wicked" tomorrow and waiting for DD to arrive!

Avery - the entire piece

Getting ready to pack these things for shipping. Here's Avery in complete glory. This child is the cutest redhead. Can you imagine the personality? These old pictures are wonderful to try to think of how these little people lived long ago.

Thanks to Paper Imagery for the vintage photo and Vintaj for the brass. Don't forget to visit their booth at CHA. Collections chipboard and the Cuttlebug were used for the house elements. But the Graphic 45 papers are what really make this piece stand out. And not ONE stamp!!! Amazing!!!

Two Days of Work

Tim Holtz's New Stamps!!

Thanks Mel for getting my order out! I got my Tim Holtz stamps from Paper Imagery and had to play! This is his new set Reindeer Flight! I LOVE trees!!!! And these are too cute!!! Of course the key is his, too. Grundgeboard is so fun to work with.

The background is Perfect Pearls in the Mini-Mister with Re-inkers. Go try some creating.....it's better than cooking!!

Let me introduce you to Avery in the terrific collection from Paper Imagery Designs. Pretty cute, huh? The background paper was made with some of the Perfect Pearls from yesterday and a reverse use of Tim's mask. Get that....used the piece from the background of the mask....fun!

Then I added some Maya Road metal blossoms, another round metal piece, and a brad. Lots of pen stitches and some Swiss Dots with the Cuttlebug.
