I AM SOOOOOO TIRED!!!!

We've been working non-stop for the past 5 days helping the kids get their house ready to put on the market tomorrow!!! No pressure here....painting, sanding, washing walls, changing outlets, doorknobs, and handles, patching holes in the walls, and PACKING STUFF!!!

Unbelievable what we got done in such a short time. The house REALLY looks good, and we look like, well *%@)! Bill and I are TOAST!

Anybody get time to watch the Olympics???? We had our own, and I think we may have gotten a Bronze.

So, I can post a picture of a really fun project I did using Bare Elements and Creative Imagination papers. I LOVE the way Tim's Bookplate fits on the front.

This is an eyeglass holder, with a magnetic closure, that tips up with the bookplate to open. I used Ranger Alcohol Inks to color the plate the way I wanted. Stamps from Stampers Anonymous really add to the papers as well as pen marks and Distress Inks.

Now if I just remembered to put my extra pair of glasses in there I could find them when I needed them......wouldn't that be nice!!!!

Be well and be good to each other!!!

MORE fun in the Studio!

Hey everybody! First of all, this was not my idea. I was so inspired by Eileen the Paper Queen's fabulous swap that I had to try my adaptation of this little purse.
~
You MUST go see her little art pieces on her blog!!!!
~
She used Grungepaper and I used Grungeboard, but the concept is the same. One piece of this stuff and NO glue!
~
Ran it through the Cuttlebug, Distress Inked it to the hilt, stamped with Studio 490 stamps, and adorned with Idea-ology wonders! The hitch fastener closes it perfectly!!!!
~
AND you can put your credit card, driver's license, and a few green backs in it....and you're off!!!
~
FUN~ FUN~ FUN!!!!!

Suppertime.....what a waste of good daylight!

Just one more thing

This is what I worked on today. It features Bella from Paper Imagery Designs and Marshall. Do you think she's dreaming of the older kid she has a crush on?

The base is a page from the chipboard House Book Kit from Small Studio Productions along with the little house trinket, vintage tape measure, Tim's Idea-ology pieces and vintage brown and white stripey twine.

The papers are Graphic 45. I LOVE them....have I said that before?

A bit of Grungeboard, Maya Road buttons,Distress Ink, and a Studio 490
stamp!

AND - For a real treat, go visit Suze's blog!!! She took some fantastic pictures of CHA. You don't want to miss these!

My Christmas Card to You!

Thanks to everyone who comes to visit, and especially those who take the time to leave a comment. They are like gold to bloggers! This is a Christmas card I sent to my friend Wendy....see her stamp at the top and bottom?

But before I mailed it off, I hung it on my tree for a pretty nice picture of my tree. So this is my card to all my bloggers friends.

Be well, be good to each other.....and for my wintry friends ....stay warm!

Your Friend in ART,

Linda
