Our lovely little town got at least 9 inches of snow, according to the local weather service. All you have to do is set me up to teach a class, and we get an ice storm, or lots and lots of snow. It happens!!!! I am not kidding. I'm teaching a class tomorrow, so we get tons of snow!!!
So, to while away the day, I decided to try another transparency of one of my favorite vintage baby cabinet cards. Believe it or not, it turned out well, I think. The background paper really made it! And not one stamp....except some dots on the leaves. I used Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. Some Mahogany and Peeled Paint on the lighter background paper gave it a nice contrast for the edge. Papers by K&Company.
I think it warmed my little heart on a cold winter day....and thank you DHL for scaring me to death by saying my Maya Road book was sitting in Niles, MI for over 2 1/2 days, when they say it actually was on it's way to Fresno. Ever spend a day or two snowed in with a distressed (and I don't mean ink), and emotionally upset woman who thinks one of her projects is LOST????? Hmmmmmm???? Poor dear husband!!! He is the best. And we both will sleep better tonight just knowing the delivery man did his job!! WHEW!!! Go ahead, make my day....

Love the transparency Linda! Beautiful!
I just showed this to my niece and she loved it!!! I think a photo of her new little baby girl would be so cool in this---and be a great accessory for her 100 year old house. May have to hit you up for a little help!!!
