The Classes Are UP!

Anyone that knows me well, knows that :
1. I hate to be teased...my dad teased me terribly.
2. I hate sneak peeks.
3. I'm not fond of surprises.
4. I do NOT wait well.

That having been said......I'm not trying to be mean here, but if you love vintage, Graphic 45, and being organized....then you might want to think about taking one or both of these classes.

This is what you start with.......I'm just sayin'....it changes dramatically!

This is the Bare Elements Desk organizer that uses Le'Romantique papers, Tim Holtz Idea-ology and stamps, and a gorgeous Petaloo flower for embellishment.

The organizer has 4 square wooden boxes we decorate on front and back...the 2 ends also, and they sit in a wooden tray that we embellish, too. I love how it turned out, even if I do say so myself. The colors are GORGEOUS!!!!!

This is a peek at the back. I LOVE these papers. So elegant and vintage....hmmm.
I had several people ask if I was doing this class. So I hope you guys like these. The 2 wall hangings have G45 papers, each a piece of Vintaj Brass, vintage-style buttons, ribbons and pearls. And various flowers, the green one is from Petaloo.

The butterfly and miniature frame are from Vintaj....they are STUNNING!

Each class will get the complete set of 10 papers in the 8x8 size. You'll have lots of left overs for plenty of other projects. Keep them for yourselves or give one as a gift.

So check out the sidebar. See where we'll be, and make plans to join us. We'd love to see you there.

Have a great 4th of July. Enjoy your Freedom and your Family. It doesn't get much better than this.

A Fun Door Hanger for Erin

These flowers called Dazzlers of all shapes and colors come from Petaloo. The green and brown Glitter Paper is on Mulberry paper that cuts great with Tim's new dies Alterations!!! The wooden hanger is Bare Elements and the background mica paint is Luminarte sprays and dabbers. The photo does not show how sparklie it really is. I added a few Grungeboard crowns for balance.

This is a door hanger for Erin's new room in her new house. What a great place!!!!!!! The house is a warm and wonderful home in a matter of days.

However, Emma, the younger sister, loves to drive Erin crazy by taking things, and using and hiding her stuff. Ahhhhh, little sisters. This won't stop her, but it was fun to make.

We made Erin a Treasure chest for Christmas, complete with a combination lock to keep Em at bay.........you can't put your whole room in a lock box though.

Another beautiful day, there's nothing prettier than a spring garden. And this year the plants are really coming up fast! The Columbine is ready to bloom.

And the rabbits are feasting on the Hostas...until I sprayed with the nasty smelling Invisible Fence stuff....it doesn't hurt the rabbits....it is actually rotten eggs and it smells just like them until it dies.

Have a great week!

Brittany's Book

This is the cover of a book project for Creative Imaginations. I used Distress Ink and pen marks to enhance the beautiful papers.

Cut out butterflies and Stickles on the flowers.

Beadazzles on the chipboard....VERY cool!!!!!

Love the way she added just the yellow to the flower.

I made this book using Bare Elements book Beverly and papers Passion for Fashion. This was a really fun project since my Granddaughter, Brittany, is soooo much a shoe-freak/clothes-horse/photo diva.

She really is good. I love the black and white photos.

She's off taking a photography class now using our old 35mm camera to get more wonderful shots. Can't wait to see them.

To see the products list, go to the CI blog and enjoy the other books that were made this month!!!
