DOTD Mini Gothic Shrine

 It's time for another little tutorial using 
Retro Cafe Art Gallery 
pieces and new products that they carry.

I started with a Mini DOTD Gothic Shrine Kit - Wide. It's base coated with Heavy White Gesso.

I added Fresco paints with a sponge square and then stamped with small clear stamps using black archival ink. These are the OUTSIDES of the shrine.

These Prima stamps are a PERFECT size for the Coffee Break Design pieces!!!

The INSIDES are glittered using the Soft Gloss Gel and a brush. Just stand the edges up in the excess glitter to get them covered. 

LOVE the new glitters from Finnabair. And her Gels are wonderful.

Here you can see the 3 colors of the glitter. It's so easy to sprinkle the glitter wherever you have added the Gel.

I used Washi tape  to go around the 3 small wooden blocks for the legs. 

The Amethyst Vintaj Patina paint is used to add centers to the metal studs. I later added  Agate on the petals for more contrast.

I sprayed the Sunrise Sunset paper with a mist of Ripe Persimmon reinker in water. 

When dry you can add the Soft Gel and the Zinc Glass Beads. This shows them before it's dry so you can see how easy it is to literally glob them on. The glue dries clear.

The Large Catrina Skeleton Bead has some blue and purple Sharpie marks to make her a little more colorful. Easy Peasy.

The German Dresden is trimmed a bit and glued on with 3D Gel along with the Bead and metal flower studs. Add the feet decorated with some large clear Rhinestones.

To break up the color, I used a small checkered stencil and White Modeling Paste to add a few random spots on the back and sides.

The adorable little Art Doll Faces are made with Air-Dry Clay and painted with an orange glaze. Soooo easy and fun to make.....just glue on with 3D Gel. That stuff is perfect for adding elements that are uneven. The pieces, like the skull beads, stay right where you want them.

The little Aqua Skull Beads and left-over CBD pieces are glued on as well as the Mini Steampunk Gears.
