Metal Butterfly

Last night I decided I needed to do something with all the wonderful Maya Road books I have from my prize stash. I needed to make something large with my new Ten Seconds Studio metal colors....I needed to do SOMETHING! Ha!
~~~
So here is the Plum metal and the Butterfly from the coaster album. I used several molds to achieve this, and a metal brush tool to remove color below the level of embossing. More silver shows and gives a bit of a different look.
~~~
I like it! What do you think? You have got to see this stuff to really appreciate it.

We will expose the Scrapbook Friend'z girls to the new colors Sunday in class.

The samples are done in black and brown, but we will be able to use COLORS!

Hope to see you there!!!!
~~~
Make sure I take pictures girls, I always forget!
The metal butterfly is really beautiful - I bet it looks even better in person. I haven't work with the embossing metal much but I am thinking, after looking at this beauty, that I should give it a try!
Thanks for the inspiration!
